I wonder how long it will be before your kid figures out how to circumnavigate your weak defences. I’m not familiar with this particular app, but in college they used to make us run similar programs on our laptops during class, mostly to prevent people instant messaging, and the way you’d get around that was by renaming AIM or Firefox to something legit like Word or Notepad.

The problem of Internet addiction is real. My child could not stay away from the Internet even for an hour, that's why I bought internet filtering software called Ez Internet Timer. It can stop all his on-line activity and block Internet browsers, e-mails, ftps or messengers such as MSN, Skype according to my daily schedule.

Thanks for the news. It’s interesting because at www.CarlJungTypes.com they have written a discussion of the psychological profile of the world wide web and their conclusion is that the web is addictive not the internet per se.
